2007
November 07 - Well after two months in the touring caravan we have finally graduated to a static caravan! Its like a mansion compared
to the wee one! We have water and electricity, but no TV or internet. We have started to get to work clearing the land and outbuilding. Wilson
is getting big and has settled into the pack well. Unfortunatley for us he has teamed up with Mo so we now have double trouble!
December 07 - Its cold! The caravan is freezing and the water has frozen a couple of times! The dogs are happy as larry
though. We have ran at a couple of local rallies so far but we are really interested in running at
NSDSC events this season.
Cameron went with David down to Ae forest for the first NSDSC event of the season. They ran a ten dog team including Mo and Norris.
They had some slight problems with a certain ditch though and spent a fair while removing the Fritz Dyke cart from it! We also
attended the
SSHC Culbin rally where Cameron ran Mo and Norris along with Jinks and Yeleana from the Gwaihir kennel. Cameron
also ran one day at the SHCGB Culbin rally in the two dog class with the boys. Our next event will again be Culbin with the
NSDSC. Still no TV or internet!

Home sweet home.......
August 2007 - More pics of Little Noisy Wilson have been added. He has settled in really well and torments the living daylights
out of Kifa. He loves the couch and spends most of his time up there. The rest of it is spent outside digging holes with
Norris!!
We have added a page to the site for Princess Lyscha at my mums request, you have been warned, its very
pink! Click here to see her.
This weekend coming we are off on our annual trip up to Turriff show where we stay with Cameron's Aunt
and Uncle. Mo, Kai and Lyscha are enetered and Mum and Dad are staying at ours to watch the rest of the dogs.
The
SSHC are holding a
Breed Seminar this weekend on the 4th Aug. It will be well worth going to so if you haven't already booked
a place get in touch with the club and see if there are any spaces left!
August 07 - Well, back from our weekend away. Little Wilson behaved himself while were away and was happy to see us back.
Turriff was good fun, and I had to plead with the people at the gates to let me in because I had left our passes in Glasgow! (It was
all Camerons fault really!) They were very nice and let me go get my catalogue to prove I was entered and they let us in without paying
the £10 entrance fee!!! Mohceh got a 4th at Turriff, Kai got 5th and Lyscha won her class. She was beaten to BOB by Kez,
owned by David and Helen so it was good day out for the Gwaihir Kennel! Kez went on to get Working G3!! Well done Kez! The
rain stayed off untill about lunchtime. The show was still very busy though even though there was no livestock allowed due to
the foot and mouth outbreak.
September 07 - Well, its been a busy time here as we have been packing up to move house. We are heading up north
to a house that would probably be best described as a building site! Its a big move for us but one that will hopefully be worth
while for the dogs. They are going to have a whole outbuilding all to themselves! We have manged to get another couple
of runs in at Aberfoyle before we left with Lyscha and her pal Diesel coming along as well. Little Wilson is noisier than ever
now in the forest now that he knows what trips there are all about. He also has very few teeth left at the moment so he is constantly
on the lookout for things to chew / destroy. He has now discovered the toilet roll and runs 'andrex puppy style' all over
the house with it. The roll is still in the bathroom but he is down the stairs and out in the garden with the other end!!!!
Little Monkey.
Happy smiley Norris!
July 2007 - Its exciting times at Arcticpack as our new addition has arrived!! This is Wilson and he is a Seppala Siberian and
our second dog from the Gwaihir Kennel. Thank you to David and Helen for allowing us to have another of your puppies.
He is little monkey who is quickly learning that wires / plugs / carpets / skirting boards etc are NOT his new toys. Witchy
has very quickly taught him the best places to dig in the garden and they are best friends already. Keep checking back to see
how he is doing....
July 2007 - Well, we have the the van back and finally managed to get out for a short run at just over a mile. Princess Lyscha
graced us with her presence and ran lead with Mo. Norris ran at wheel. The Witchy Woo had a short run with me on the scooter.
Everybody enjoyed themselves and it was reasonable 8 degrees. We finished just in time as the midges arrived en masse!!!! I
think 'Little noisy Wilson' woke up the whole of Aberfoyle and the surrounding area! Then it was off to Mum and Dads to 'get
rid' ahem, sorry, drop off Lyscha and have a big fry up for breakfast. The dogs didn't, they had lamb.
May 2007 - This month sees the launch of the National Sled Dog Sports Centre website (NSDSC). If you are interested in taking
part in events that are slightly longer than normal then check it out at
www.nsdsc.org. We will be running at their
events this coming season with Mo and Norris again and hopefully a couple of dogs from friends. Roll on the winter!
SKC Ch Show
- Well done Mum and Lyscha on your first in junior bitch!
June 2007 -Happy birthday Mo!! Well its been boring here as we dont have the van at the moment and we havn't been able to get
out running at all. Its been cool enough most mornings as well which makes it really annoying. My Mum and I went out to buy
a new carpet one weekend this month and left Dad in charge of the dogs. Their little angel Lyscha (with the help of Norris i
suspect) trashed the back garden and ate my Magnolia tree!! Dad kept getting up to check on them and when he looked out they
were all lying sleeping on the path. Yeah right! They must have heard him getting up and cause it takes him a while to shuffle to
the back door, they downed tools and all pretended to be asleep!! Horrors the lot of them! What was it someone said about never trust
a siberian????
I'm (Lisa) on holiday at the end of the month till August and we are also having the pleasure of Lyscha for a
week while my Mum and Dad go off on a cruise. This time, she will be kept securely locked in the dog run!!
