On the evening of the 4th January 2012 we had to make the decision to say goodbye to our wonderful Mohceh. He was only a few months past his 7th birthday and it is incredibly unfair he had to leave us, and that he had to leave us the way he did. He was such a proud dog and never let his illness stop him getting on with his life. Even though he struggled to walk he would still try to run off and chase things if we gave him a bit of off lead freedom in his last months. He still went out into the dog pen to see the others and even though his body was failing him, he still had the utmost respect from them all. His body finally failed him completely.
He came to us in autumn 2004 and even as a puppy he always had the upper hand. As a youngster he grew up with Norris and the two of them became very much like brothers and were inseparable as they got older. The two of them would still share a dog box despite both of them being pretty big dogs. Mo was a true Siberian in every sense of the word. He not only had the looks, he had a lovable personality that was full of mischief and fun. A very intelligent dog who loved to run in harness, he also had that inbuilt Siberian trait of wanting to chase, and probably eat anything small and furry, especially if it squeaked.
We are so very sorry to have lost such a good friend who brought so much joy into our lives. Our only comfort is that he is now at peace and no longer has to suffer.
Mo, you leave a huge hole in our hearts that i’m not sure will ever be filled. You will be forever missed by us all here at Arcticpack. We are so sorry Mo xxxx
